Steve has had a lifelong dream to become an author.

After many years of prioritizing life and its important activities, Steve realized that there was going to be only one way that this dream would come to fruition. That was to devote the time needed to write and to focus upon getting the story that was in his head out, and into an actual manuscript.

As with all dreams, if we don’t put in the activity needed to make them come true, then they will only ever be one thing, a dream!

Steve’s genre of writing is Crime Fiction. He has always been a keen reader in this genre, and loves the twists and turns that these novels offer their keen and avid readers. The ability to play detective is a huge draw for him, picking out details and nuances in the story lines, which may give an indication of what the outcome may be.

However, Steve has chosen to take a surprising twist with his stories. It is only natural that his passion for dinosaurs should be involved in his writing. He has used this passion to frame his work. The world that provides the background to his story lines explores the age old question: “What would the world be like if the dinosaurs never became extinct?”

Steve is a proud supporter of raising awareness of mental health assistance. He feels strongly that anyone who is suffering and needs support, should be able to access this with caring and consideration. His story lines include themes of anxiety, depression and loneliness. With suicide themes contained within his first novel, he is hoping to inspire positive conversations around the support and assistance for those who are experiencing mental health issues.
